Cheers for this release SJ - always a pleasure when it's something totally new to me (and sounds as good as this).
Two very different tracks, Stir Up The Boogie Part II most definitely lives up to its name, and I would add, it's label as there is always a rawer, raunchier, less polished sound from Stax - Late Seventies The Jacksons take on the Boogie, it is not!
The flipside 'Summer In The Shade' is much more in the 'Modern Soul' spectrum and its a shame there isn't an instrumental release as I love the rhythm and tempo of it, that drumming style just does it for me everytime.
Excellent quality sound as always - your rips always sound much richer and fuller than any lossless digital releases I buy when I play them side by side with your rips - admittedly I have a shit sound set up at the moment!

Wow! Looking forward to listening! This side of The Soul Children is new to me. (but my auntie would play "The Sweeter He Is" non-stop. LOL!)
Many thanks, check out the LP/CD 'Open Door Policy', sure you will enjoy it very much.
