The Floaters & Shu-Ga – Get Ready For The Floaters & Shu-Ga 1981 FLAC 24/48

We are now in 1981 and The Floaters have had to move label again, now on Fee Detroit/WP Records.

Looking at the copyrights on this album it looks like they starting this album back in 1979 but it never got released until 1981.

Now who is Shu-Ga? Not much information on the sleeve but she is believed to be Renee Holloway, anyone know more?

The Floaters - Float Into The Future 1979/2012 CD FLAC

I should have posted this yesterday but I was busy on my private blog so I forgot, will you ever forgive me?

This is the third album by The Floaters, released on MCA Records after ABC Records was shut down.

Only the one single was released from this one and it was called 'Levitation' with 'The Best Of My Love' as the B side.

This is the 2012 CD release from PTG/Vinyl Masterpiece and as usual from this company it is a Vinyl rip.

The album got a further reissue in 2022 in Japan, was master tapes used for that release?

A few singles were released from this album, but none were as successful as 'Float On'

This album has not been released as an official release, so this is a vinyl rip restored by the monkeys at DC Towers.

The Jackal Remastered Volume 7

 

Well here it is, the final Volume of The Jackal Remastered.

There will not be a Volume 8 as The Jackal died in 2012 and this is all I have.

Once the links die on these Jackal Comps that will be it, they will never be uploaded again.

I have two Soul Mixes by The Jackal which have never been posted, these will be available sometime later this year.

So send out much belated love to the man who was The Jackal.
