Ned Doheny - To Prove My Love 1979 [2025 Remaster] FLAC

Originally released on the LP 'Prove' which only ever saw a Japanese release back in 1979.

Here in the UK we got this release which tells us the year was 1978, but this single was actually released in 1981.

Cut Glass - Without Your Love 1980 [2025 Remaster] FLAC

originally released in 1979 on Earhole Records, 20th Century Fox Records picked it up in 1980 and made it into a relatively small hit.

Cut Glass released a second single in 1980 which was a cover of 'Rising Cost Of Love'

Today we are in 1984 in New York City.

This is the only known 12'' Single release by Dalmatian Records but there was an LP by Butch E. Ford who was the executive Producer on this record.

Not sure who Leslie O'Hara is? Maybe American/Canadian?

This was recorded in France and Is a Cerrone Production.

It was not released in the US either but got a Canadian release, maybe she was French or French/Canadian.

Anyone know any more about her, as this was the only album she ever recorded.

Starfire - Dancing And Singing For You 1978 FLAC 24/48

The second and final album by Starfire was originally released in 1978.

 It got a reissue in 1980 when the album was titled as 'Starfire' it also saw a reissue sometime in the late 90's early 2000's by who I'm not sure.

 I have finally got around to remastering some more of The Jackal's edits this year.

The Jackal would have been 66 this year if he was still with us, unfortunately he passed away nearly 10 years ago.

Hopefully you will find these sounding better, but please remember they are only as good as the original files.

The Jackal Remastered Volume 1 2019/2020 FLAC

Many of you may have noticed on the right hand side of the blog is a Memorial to someone many of us knew as The Jackal.

The last time I posted his rips was back in 2013 and until recently no one had ever asked for any of his Edits before. But a recent comment asked why were their none of his edits on the blog?

Well back at the beginning of last year I started to remaster all of his edits that I have, unfortunately these take a lot of time and I only managed to do seven. This year I have managed to do three more so I have posted those ten here.

I am hoping I can finish all of his back catalogue off over the next couple of years, hopefully before the tenth anniversary of his passing.

So here we are and it has been eight years already since The Jackal left us and with the world in the turmoil it is now he's one of the lucky ones.

Hopefully I have mastered them to your satisfaction and you will leave some kind comments.

We still miss The Jackal and hopefully he is up in heaven still loving his music and treating all those up there to some of his excellent edits.
