One of my biggest regrets up until recently was not buying this album when it was originally released.
Because believe me I remember seeing it in the record store and like a fool I put it back and bought something else, don't ask me what I genuinely don't remember.
Still let's hope you all enjoy this recent reissue.

I don't remember it first time around but was blown away when I heard the reissue. It's funny isn't it, you can sometimes remember exactly the moment when you didn't buy a record far more than when you did.
You really do kick yourself, though in fairness, the album cover doesn't exactly give away what's inside.
Favourite track is the opening track, Crucial Loving, I've always loved that sing-song early female rap/hip-hop and that electric guitar, reminds me of that moment in the Carpenters song, totally unexpected!
I didn't realise there was a Matumbi connection till now - remember seeing them back in the early 80s, possibly supporting Black Uhuru or Eek-A-Mouse, one of the two anyway, but yes, amazing live act who didn't really go mainstream compared to say Steel Pulse.
Many thanks for this SJ, quality rip as always.
