I've been finding some new favourite tracks in volume six! Betty Davis' Dedicated To The Press is like a funkier version of Tina Turner's Acid Queen - I'd imagine someone must have done an edit of the track by now as that opening bassline is funky beyond belief. Sounds Of City Experience's Stuff N' Thing' had that great 70s library/Detective jazz funk feel and Fruit's Say It is a totally new to me soul/disco crossover classic and Beverly And Duane's 'Take A Ride' is a great slice of yacht rockin' AOR disco and Lee Garratt's 'You're My Everything' is such a soulful vocal workout.
Another really diverse set of tracks with some of my personal all time favourites like War's Me And Baby Brother which I can never tire of listening to - the quality of the vinyl rips is excellent - those discs have been seriously looked after as I can't remember a single crackle or pop!
