 Another CD ripped from my own collection.

Sought-after disco / funk / boogie album from the US, 1978.
Originally released as a promo album in a blank sleeve, it was also issued in Belgium (under the Reverie - Get Up And Dance title) and Japan, housed in a picture sleeve.
Here's the first ever CD reissue featuring new artwork (based on the band's original idea for the intended US cover) and master tape sound.

 After some request mixes we now have one that I created for myself and I would like to share it with you all.

Between 1973 and 1980 the group released six albums and countless singles and probably more compilations than they deserve.

The Detroit Spinning Mix

 If you were wondering why this is called the Detroit Spinning Mix, then here's why.

Here in the UK there was already a group called The Spinners, see link here.

They were a folk based quartet founded in 1958.

Where as The Spinners from Detroit were formed in the early 60's. so when they released their first album in 1967 in the UK they were renamed The Detroit Spinners so there was no confusion.

 Our second request mix comes from The Commodores, and all the tracks are taken from this CD.

It is well worth getting this CD and the mastering is top notch.

 This is a mix that I created using all the tracks from this CD, they are in chronological order as on the back sleeve.

I have de-clipped the files as they were not the best and added a touch of stereo widening as some of them are almost mono.

The Jackal's In Car Mix 002 2011/2021/2023 FLAC

I have 4 Mixes by The Jackal which he sent me in 2011 for me to play in my car. 

There was originally 5, but the DVD he sent me was corrupted so I only managed to get 4 of them off.

I have no track listing for this mix, you will just have to play it and enjoy what you hear.

I have tried to remaster the sound from the original files he sent me, unfortunately they are only as good as the source material.

We got two comments for the last In Car Mix, can we make it more?

We should also be seeing the second Barry White Mix by The Jackal sometime very soon.

 A totally awesome 12 Inch single from 1979 by Asphalt Jungle. 

Keith Benson (Producer & Writer) was a drummer for MFSB.

Araxis - Space Ranger 1982/2022 Remaster

 The Araxis from 1978 is the same as the Araxis in 1982?, well no it appears not.

Araxis from 1978 is a French Production, while the 1982 gets it's origins from what little information I can find in Germany.

The Remix by Peter Frost is the Canadian connection, as this record was never released anywhere else in the world.
