Thanks very much!! Sounds real good!! What you mean with "remaster". Do you equaliza it or is a new rip? Love to know . Thanks again anyway. Enjoying it!!
Hi I have been listening to vinyl since 1970 and have bought and sold since 2000, so I own a lot of vinyl which sometimes doesn’t always sound as good as I would like it. Not all the remasters are my rips as I have many friends who offer me their rips too. I guess I try to bring out a bit more sound that can be in 40 to 50 year old vinyl. I clean as best I can, I then add a few EQ curves and adjust until it sounds right to me, now if I had the master tapes I could make them really sing. Oh I don’t add any noise reduction and try to keep everything below 0db on my meters. No compression either and hopefully no brick walling either. Regards Simon (blog owner) If you have any tips you are not happy with I can try to help, files need to be FLAC or WAV 16/44 or higher ( no mp3,s please)
