The Detroit Spinning Mix
If you were wondering why this is called the Detroit Spinning Mix, then here's why.
Here in the UK there was already a group called The Spinners, see link here.
They were a folk based quartet founded in 1958.
Where as The Spinners from Detroit were formed in the early 60's. so when they released their first album in 1967 in the UK they were renamed The Detroit Spinners so there was no confusion.
